Profile

Elva Harding’s practice emphasizes real estate and business matters and effective dispute resolution. Elva’s real world legal advice is informed by her previous professional experience as an asset manager for a national real estate investment firm involved in the acquisition and disposition of multi-family and commercial properties, and overseeing property management activities.  Whether representing a medical group in the lease up of a medical office building, a company in the purchase of industrial or development space, or a small business to form a new entity, Elva focuses on her client’s goals and the bottom line.

The legal process can be a stressful distraction.  Elva strives to provide clear and concise counsel to her clients, to help them understand the consequences of their legal decisions and to make decisions appropriate for their goals. Additionally, we promise to keep our clients current on the status of their matter and to respond to calls and emails received during business hours on the same business day. For this reason, many of her family-owned, small business and HOA clients not only rely on her for advice regarding transactions and disputes but also for outside general counsel services including governance and regulatory compliance issues.

Elva Harding is an AV-rated attorney by Martindale Hubbell.  She serves on the Executive Committee of the Contra Costa County Bar Association.  Additionally, she is a member of the Real Estate and Business Law sections of the State Bar of California, the San Francisco Bar Association and California Women Lawyers.  She is a member of the East Bay CREW, the local chapter of the CREW Network.
